Biggest turn-offs:
ehhhhh, i really don’t know. i think it varies from individual to individual. i have a thing against annoying voices/laughs though, and vulgarity at inappropriate moments.
Two of my insecurities:
honestly, my weight and my own fat mouth. i’m always saying something completely retarded and lack-witted. it used to be worse when i was a kid, when i would say what-the-fuck-ever was in my head without thinking how it might sound to others. i received a bit of crap about it over the years and now i’m more likely not to say anything if i’m not sure about the other person and how they’d react.
The nicest thing anyone’s ever said to me:
i’ve had a lot of nice shit said to me over the years but i can’t really point to any one thing as being the nicest. typically it’s a compliment on my writing, though, so that probably says something in and of itself. (i’ve also been complimented on the shape of my mouth, before, and the length of my hair. which probably means they couldn’t come up with anything else to say.)
What words upset me the most:
anything derogatory that is not meant to be mildly teasing to the other person (i call my brother ugly, homely, chunky, and a whole slew of words he knows i don’t really mean).
i really deplore the word ‘gypsy’ because it is a type of pejorative slur that most people feel is perfectly fine to flaunt around whenever they want.
as for words i simply do not care for:
moist and juicy. they’re practically onomatopoeia.
